The work Untitled 5 by Liana Faletto abstractly presents
Liana`s self identification in specific social and personal terms.
There is a juxtaposition in the monoprint between a delicate lace pattern and bold, absolute shapes.
Liana embodies the lace`s femininity while rejecting the
stereotype that women lack fundamental strength. 
Fragility without triviality, boldness without brashness.
 This concept of unexpected depth is furthered by the careful injection of color in a grayscale landscape.
Contrasting initiatory assumptions, the use of color and lace create the
image`s strength rather than an auxiliary daintiness.
