This work is titled Two Halves by Michelle Sangster is a part of a series of work
that deals with the concept of looking at someone, but not actually seeing who they really are.
In this self portrait (and the other photos in this series of work)
the artist was able to show this concept by covering up half of the subject's face.
The viewers are able to look at that person, but are left wondering
what the other half is and trying to see who they really are.
