4th Annual National Self-Portrait Exhibition

June 20 - July 11, 2008

About: The Annual National Self-Portrait Exhibition has become our most viewed and most anticipated exhibition to date. Now in its 4th year, the self-portrait exhibition will be a two-part exhibit. Our guest juror will select works for the gallery exhibition. A larger group of works will be selected for a permanent online exhibition to open simultaneously with the gallery exhibit. Both the gallery and online shows will be equally promoted. Artists' works may be selected for the gallery, online or both exhibitions.

IMPORTANT DATES
Exhibition Dates: June 20 - July 11, 2008
Deadline for Submission: May 31, 2008
Notice of Acceptance/Decline: You will receive a notice of acceptance or decline no later than June 6
Delivery: All accepted work must be received by June 16, 2008

Eligibility: All artists living in the U.S. ages 18 or over. All media will be considered. Original work only. No works previously exhibited at 33 Collective Gallery will be accepted.

Juror: Joyce Morishita, PhD
Joyce Morishita is Professor Emeritus at Governors State University in University Park, Illinois
She received her Ph.D. in Art History and M.A. in Painting from Northwestern University. She
is recipient of several Illinois Arts Council and two National Endowment for the Arts Grants. She
has been in over one hundred group and solo exhibitions and her paintings and drawings are in
several public and private collections.

Awards:
Best of Show - $200 + Solo Online exhibition
Juror's Choice Award - $100 + Solo Online exhibition
Gallery Choice Award - Solo Online exhibition

Online Exhibition: Accepted works for the online exhibition will be displayed via our website. The online exhibition will open simultaneously with our gallery exhibition and will remain online indefinitely.
